PWB and Adobe PDF

Post by jdonovan »

We have library users encountering an issue when they try to print a copy of their driving record from DPS. They get a message that says "Failed to load PDF Document".
It work fine in stand-alone Chrome (Version 42.0.2311.135), but the error message comes up on PWB v3.0.4.1.
There is a test print button on https://txapps.texas.gov/tolapp/txldrcd ... seeManager
I looked through the PWB.INI file, and found nothing obvious to help.
Is there a way to enable Adobe PDF in PWB?
Thank you
James D

We are looking into the error loading the file, we believe it is related to the password protection of the PDF in question.

What version of PWB v3 are you using including the minor revision number, for example 3.04.2?

It does appear the Chromium Embedded Framework is unable to prompt for PDF passwords at this point in time. We are working with the CEF project to correct this.

Please note, the Internet Explorer version of PWB v3 which uses the Adobe Acrobat Reader directly works correctly on the web site.

We just took off PWB and are working with Firefox now.
