Solution

Doesn't appear to be inetcomm.dll

But I did find the dll that would restore the MHT functionality.

Just for anyone else with the same problem in the future here it is.

It was MSOERT2.dll

Do you have any idea how to find out what files MHT needs from outlook express to successfully save. Since I removed outlook to solve another issue, I can add back just the files that MHT needs, but I have no idea how to figure out which ones are needed.

Actually, the default for IE is MHT. I want to get rid of MHT. How do I change the default to something else. The setting you listed below is already set and changing it to one of the other two options doesn't affect IE from defaulting to MHT.

Default Save Type

When patrons try to save a web page the default type is .mht I want to force html complete as the default save type. If they use .mht it generates an error at all times becauase apparently .mht needs outlook express which I removed it so craigslist email response links doesn't auto launch in outlook...

SI.com still crashing latest PWB

We have still had the same problem with PWB v2.10.3 SI still randomly crashes and I am thinking it may be caused by the advertisements on the site. They are constantly changing and if specific ones cause the crash, that would explain how random it is. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten si.com...

We haven't tried PWB v2.10.3, but had just upgraded 2.10.2 thinking that would solve the problem. If you think 2.10.3 will solve the problem, I guess it's worth a shot. Still let me know if you find similar problems with SI.com wither either 10.2 or 10.3. Chris Hearns, IT dept. Rochester Hills Publi...

Latest Version of PWB Crashing

Certain sites seem to cause the PWB to crash. We recently updated the PWB in because it was said that this issue was corrected, but apparently not, or this is a different issue. We are a library environment and one web site that seems to crash a lot for some patrons is si DOT com. First site, can't ...
