Consumer Reports
Hello- I was alerted to an issue with the Consumer Reports website interacting with PWB IE. When clicking on a ratings link for a category, the ratings section of the page takes almost 45 seconds to load. When using PWB CEF or straight IE, the page loads after only a second or two. I have tested wit...

ClearCacheOnClose
I am having an issue when using PWB v3 IE and the ClearCacheOnClose setting. Based on what I have found is that the first time the browser is closed for the day with the ClearCacheOnClose setting set to TRUE, PWB hangs and will not restart. The PWB process hangs in memory and the browser will not re...

Policy Dialog Window
Hello- I am having a problem with the policy dialog window not opening to the specified size on some computers. The user needs to close the dialog and have it reopen for it to size correctly. After doing this, the dialog will be correctly sized on all future occurrences, until the computer is restar...

PWB Crashing
Hi Scott- I have seen some topics on this in the past, but we are having a lot of issues with PWB/IE crashing on sites recently. I am assuming it is related to the cross domain scripting that was mentioned in this post: http://www.teamsoftwaresolutions.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2168&hili...

Re: Compatibility Mode and Policy
Thanks Scott!
I realized I also forgot to remove " onload="password.focus()" from the Body tag as well.
If I didn't remove this I was getting a JavaScript error since it was still trying to run an empty command.

Re: Compatibility Mode and Policy
Thanks for the info Scott, that is exactly what I am looking for! I would love to use the CEF version and did try it, but we ran into a multitude of printing problems. From background colors & images not appearing, fonts being converted into weird characters, etc. Once the printing issues are im...

Compatibility Mode and Policy
We currently have PWB3 IE auto opening with the Accept/Decline policy dialog appearing first. Activity Timer is enabled and restarts the browser when it is closed. I am looking to enable the Compatibility button, but during my testing have found that when you click the Compatibility button it opens ...

Re: CEF Print Preview
Does this also affect the Page Setup dialog and settings? I am trying to get the option to "Print Background Colors and Images" enabled.
Thanks!
Tom

Re: PWB Display Size Issue
I have resolved the issue.
Apparently, the default setting for Windows on these new laptops was to "zoom" in to 125%.
I have changed this setting and it has resolved the issues with PWB.
Thank you for all of your help Scott!

Re: PWB Display Size Issue
I had both those options set in the INI file.
The Ctrl +/- does work to increase the zoom, but the button indicates that it is at 100% to begin with.
Thanks-
Tom

Re: PWB Display Size Issue
Hi Scott-
I have tried the following versions:
2.10.9
2.11.3
2.11.7
The 2.11 versions gave the same result; 2.10.9 was a little larger than the other 2.11 versions.
I have checked the zoom level on each and each version is set at 100%.
Thanks-
Tom

PWB Display Size Issue
Hi- I have used PWB v2 on Windows 7 previously without any issues. However I am trying to work with it on a new Dell laptop and am having a problem with the display. Internet Explorer 9 will display pages just fine, but when using PWB, the pages are displayed like they are zoomed out several times. ...

Thanks for the info Scott. We didn't know about this before, so we will look into it. Also, I found a way to fix the problem we were having with the new window showing blank panels like this image: http://barringtonarealibrary.org/PWB.png In the INI file, I changed the setting "ShowShellBar&quo...
