Re: Website display is messed up
I think it is an issue of compatibility view in IE. I believe that this group of computers must be using compatibility mode for all sites. If I log on as a non-restricted user and change the compatibility view settings it looks ok. The web site team is seeing if they can add something to the site. T...

Re: Website display is messed up
I did upgrade to the later version, but I still have the same problem. I wonder if there is an IE setting that is messing this up. This is hard to troubleshoot because we have locked down a number of Windows options that don't allow 'public' to do things like see the c:\ drive. Any ideas? Thanks Jane

Website display is messed up
Our library website was redeveloped from the ground up recently and the computers that are running PWB are displaying oddly. We thought maybe it was version of IE or Internet settings or something but when I logged in as the admin and ran IE directly it was fine. When I logged on as our public user ...

Re: PWB 10 and 11 .inis
I use one .ini on a network share. I wasn't planning to update all the PWB.exe's in the libraries around the county. Can I just use a pwb.ini that is working fine for an 11 pwb.exe installation?

PWB 10 and 11 .inis
Almost all of our computers that are running PWB are on version 10. A few are on version 11. The ones on 10 are getting a message 'do you want to debug this webpage?' The few that are running version 11 are not getting that error. I see that the .ini that came with version 11 has a lot more lines. C...

Re: RestartonClose=true
Just for testing I tried running PWB without autorestart and NOT using my shellbutton, but clicking on Exit from the File menu. It does close PWB but it is still appearing in the Task Manager. Another really odd thing when I was trying Autorestart was that I would exit PWB and it would not autoresta...

Re: RestartonClose=true
Still getting several instances of pwb.exe running when I stop pwb and autorestart opens it.
Any ideas?

Re: RestartonClose=true
I am using PWBStop for my shell button for the patron to purposely end their session. I am using AutoRestart. It basically works but I see that each time PWB restarts it is a separate process in TaskManager. I can see that could be a problem after several restarts.
Getting closer I think.

Re: RestartonClose=true
It still does not work consistently with your StopPwb or my little program that presses ALT-F4. It works about 1 out of three times. When it doesn't work I have to end the process in taskmanager. Today I have been testing as the administration with no success. The only differences that I can think o...

Re: RestartonClose=true
I think I pinned down the error. On this computer I just formatted and started over. I tested PWB with our .ini and it worked fine. Then by habit I installed Flash, Reader, Shockwave and Java just in case. Then I tried to run PWB and the restartonclose did NOT work. I uninstalled Java and now it wor...

Re: RestartonClose=true
That's not working either. I thought maybe there was a connection with using the .ini that is on a server, but I copied it to the c:\ drive and it still doesn't reopen
