Thanks for the suggestion to create a shortcut. It works for our public Internet computers! The thing is, now, I need a way to reset the volume between customers. We use Deep Freeze, so we could set a default sound level and have the computer retain the setting each time the computer restarts. Howev...

Volume control utility needed

I saw there was an existing thread for a Volume Control Utility for systems with the System Tray locked. But, there hasn't been any recent activity, so forgive me for creating a new thread on the same subject. But, I'm looking to place an icon on a public user's Start Menu for some kind of utility t...

We also seem to have problems with Discovery.com when we click any of the white arrows (white arrow inside red circle). We're using version 2.10

Thanks for the help. I had not set the DisableMoveWindow and DisableResizeWindow settings to True.

We are already using the HideGUI utility. It works great!

Browser window shrinks when double-click on title bar

We're using PWB v2.10, in full-screen, but not kiosk mode. We don't use kiosk mode because we want the windows task bar at the bottom of the screen. We do not allow the browser minimize, maximize or close functions. However, when a user double-clicks anywhere on the title-bar, the browser windows sh...

PWB 2.10 in Kiosk Mode with PC Reservation

We use Envisionware's PC Reservation (time-based reservation system) on our Library's Windows 2000 public computers. We want to use PWB v2.10 in Kiosk mode, but there's a problem. The PC Reservation screen needs to be on top of PWB's. I've tried using a program to force PC Reservation to load last, ...

Access Warning Popup on Browser Startup

I am using version 2.09. The ini file was converted from a 2.07 version. The older version browser/ini combo worked fine when we started the browser. But, when we start the 2.09 browser with the converted PWB.ini file, a "Warning: Denied" window pops up with a 14-second countdown telling u...

Running PWB with settings from both INI file and Registry

I would like to run PWB v2.06 so that some basic settings come from an INI file while others come from the Windows registry. My understanding from the documentation is that this should be possible and that the last location's setting takes precedence. Unfortunately, the settings I put in the HKEY_LO...
