Click on Policies and create a New Key called Explorer. Once Explorer is created, right click on it and create a new DWord Value.

Actually, I have another question. When the new PWB shell starts and loads, it takes a while for the initial page to show. I'm hosting the page with IIS on PC A. I have PC B that will be the main kiosk and startup page hosted on PC A lags. I have PC A also acting like it were a kiosk retrieving the ...

Group Policy and PWB as a shell

Sorry to bother again but I'm having yet another problem. Running PWBv2, IExplorer v6, Win XP Pro. I'm running a group policy that I modified and was originally posted by Microsoft to run as Kiosk mode. I've used the policy before when testing Opera and IExplorer to use for the kiosk. They all worke...

runtime errors on new window

I'm using PWB v2.0.9.4 on Internet Explorer 6.0. I tested opening a new window on a Yahoo page where you click on a link and it opens a video. I keep getting these error messages shown below. They only occur because I click on the link which opens the new window. However, before the video is closed,...

I just wanted to add. I figured out that the reason scroll="no" wasn't working for me is because I was using Internet Explorer v7.0 Beta 2. I was able to disable the scrollbars with scroll="no" using IE v6.0.

You are amazing! I'm really liking this software now...

Time to get registered! This is definitely the right program to use from all the different ones I tried.

Scott, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that your immediate support is highly appreciated.

Ctrl+P and CustomContextMenu

I don't use the Print icon because I personally think it detracts from the webpage view. I have enabled the Ctrl+P shortcut and for it not to display the Print dialog and just print immediately. I also have a custom context menu which includes Print. If I do Ctrl+P (or use the button, both work the ...

That works! I was about to say that scroll="no" wasn't working and neither were other html methods to hide it that I found on the net.

Thanks!

That is actually a great idea! That is, the part to close on inactivity and restart itself to give a fresh browser for the new user. Thanks! I did notice that the DisableExit is there but it's a pain when you do need to close it for x-reason. I wasn't aware of the memory leaks so your suggesting wil...

Disable Alt+F4 and scrollbars?

I'm running v2.09.3 as Kiosk mode. First, I was wondering if the Alt+F4 combination key can be disabled from the browser? If not, it's no big deal since PWB can restart by itself! Second, can the scrollbars be hidden, at least the horizontal one? I know Opera's kiosk mode can do this and it works re...
