that the pages don't look right with before IE 11 or the white screen?

The white screen with the icons and screen frozen that requires a reboot happens all the time about 4 to 5 times a day per catalog station.

I have tried the Chrome version and now I am back on the PWB 3 IE version.

Websites were not coming up right without IE 11 on them.

Out of troubleshooting ideas.

So, the search button doesn't work in Google chrome Version 37.0.2062.120 m.

But works in Version 37.0.2062.124 m.

Can we get an update to the software?

We did. Do I need to disable that?

it works on a fresh boot, and then times out where the machine will need to be rebooted. The icons at the top of the screen are frozen.

We are experiencing this also.

White screen but we are using the Chrome install.

What would be the correct settings to have my PWB go back to the home page when my inactivity timer goes off?

Restart won't work since it restarts the computer and I am using Thin Clients that rebuild on log off.

Any update on windows 7 locking down?

On the catalog page there is a tab that says "Online Databases"

Then Click the Link called Home or Select the jpeg that says CARNEGIE-STOUT.

That should take you to the homepage. Next Select the Advanced Search button on the catalog search box right on the homepage.

We have a weird situation with our PWB machines.

They are set to default to our library's catalog but you can get from the catalog to our homepage.

The problem comes in when they go to our homepage and then try to click the link back to our catalog. It will open up tabs continuously until the ...

I am trying to link to a file on the local computer to stop the PWB and start a new program. It pops up with a security dialog that asks if you are sure you want to run this file.

Would love to get rid if this window.

Anyone have any ideas on how I would do this?

I Have tried using a bat file with pwbstop and it seems to work but still pops up a MS command window which is unwanted by my boss.
