With IE 9 and PWB on Windows 7, we can't access the Common Open File Dialog that we had in XP. When users want to save files or upload files, they can't see the My Documents folder, which is an option we want them to have. When patrons try to print from Mapquest, no map appears. The map appears in the print view when testing in IE 9.

Scott, I did some more testing and found that it's only a problem on a handful of Windows 7 computers. All the computers use the same INI file so I don't think that's the source of the problem. Also, all were installed from the same image so I don't think it's anything related to PWB-specific files....

When users go here:

they get a page from IE about the certificate being expired. If PWB, if you try to continue to the site, you get stuck in a loop of warning pages. In IE, it allows you to continue to the page.

Any settings in PWB that might be blocking that from continuining? IE completes the loading of the page even if there is an error.

A patron complained that the form on this page doesn't work in PWB. In testing, it works fine with IE 9 on that computer but not with PWB 2.11.3.

Is there a way to suppress or have the "Deleting Browsing History..." process run silently so that users don't see it? It's a nice feature but we're finding users are getting confused by seeing the dialog as the history is cleared after they close their browser window.

I've noticed with the upgrade to 2.11.2 that the browser is now purging temporary Internet files, history, etc. when it is closed. Is this based on a setting in PWB? Or a Group Policy/Registry setting? I vaguely recall that I tinkered with this in GP a while back but since it didn't appear to work a...

Thanks. I may also try the fix of running on the server first before having the remote clients launch it.

Which mode does this setting correspond to? Turning Compatability View on or off?
