Cool! I'll try them out today. Thanks Scott!

Print Templates
Hi Scott, Does PWB already use a Print Template? I ask because I'm interested in introducing custom Print Templates for our PCs. I'm not sure on a technical level whether this requires implementation within PWB, or if I can do it from outside and interrupt the relevant messages. Of course if PWB alr...

Hi Scott, Thanks for the reply. It certainly would be helpful. At the moment our security software dumps data into the log file using our (Australian) format DD/MM/YYand PWB is logging American formats MM/DD/YY. They still work, but some of our staff who only access the logs once in a blue moon are ...

Log File Dates
Does PWB write to its history file using mm/dd/yy format or does it check the computer's regional settings?

Text size
I've noticed that PWB seems to reset the text size to medium when it loads, whilst IE doesn't. Was this intended? I can't seem to find any settings associated with it (although I could be blind).

2.06 Dialog Boxes
Just thought I'd mention how stoked I am with the new dialog boxes. With some simple HTML they look fantastic, and a lot of our staff have commented on how they give the system a more professional look. Well done! Just a point about them though. I noticed that the "ButtonOK" and "Butt...

Security Credentials for Log Files
Hi Scott, Have you considered allowing administrators to specify a username/password for PWB to use when writing to files like the history? This would allow us to set read-only access (or no access) to all of the important files unless using the appropriate access. Then we just add a user to the dom...

Hi spragers, I wrote a little perl script to make all of our registry changes remotely from an admin computer. I use it to enable/disable security settings quickly, but it could be used in situations like this, plus you can specify exactly which PCs you want to effect. Of course, eventually Scott co...

A thought just occurred to me: Dependent on your OS, you could even eliminate read access to the files and run PWB using different credentials. XP offers a pretty simple means of doing this, and there are several tools available to make the process more automated and secure in a public environment. ...
