Loaded 2.10, getting error when trying to run now. urlmon.dl

I loaded 2.10 on about 30 computers and had a problem with 2 of them.
When I try to access the program, I get "The procedure entry point CoInternetSetFeatureEnabled could not be located in the dynamic link library urlmon.dll"
Has anyone else seen this? Help?
I tried reloading 2.10 fresh, but got the same result.

This is part of the Windows XP security functionality and is available in Windows XP Service Pack 2 or newer.

Make sure you are running at least Windows XP Service Pack 2 and have all the updates installed.

I am getting the same error on a Windows 2000 machine.
I can't replace the dll.

You need to use PWB v2.10 for Windows 98/ME/2000 not the Windows XP/Vista version.

PWB v2.10 takes advantage of security offered in IE 7 which is not available on versions of Windows earlier then XP SP2.

To make things clear for me plz:

Will PWB v2 work under Windows 2000 IE 6 or does it prefer IE 7?

PWB will work on any version of IE down to IE 4.

However PWB v2.10 can use security that is only availble in Windows XP SP2 or newer. This is not dependant on the version of IE, but the level of service pack or version of Windows that deals with TCP/IP security.

I'm getting this same message this week, after doing Windows updates on 7 XP machines. Have had no problem previously. Using PWB 2.10. Is there a particular Windows update that may be affecting this dll?

Are you running Windows XP with service Pack 2 with IE 6?

According to Microsoft here are the requirements.

Minimum availability Internet Explorer 6.0
Minimum operating systems Windows XP SP2

So, why was everything fine until I did Windows updates a week ago? I have a list of the updates, if that would help...

PWB v2.10.3 now includes functionality to detect and defer setting the security features if they are not available. This should prevent the problem moving forward.

That's it--10 updates installed on Jan 17. We've been getting the error since.

I would guess it is in KB942615 since this directly affects IE 6.

Try using PWB v2.10.3 currently available on the beta download page. This has been re-written to bypass loading URLMON.DLL directly to avoid the error when the security funcitonality is not available in IE.

PWB v2.10.3 is in the final stages of testing and will be released shortly.
