We use PWB 1.2.8 in our libraries as our main browser and have either IE5.5 or IE6.0 behind it. In one library we had a patron trying to access www.scvelo.com and look at the race schedules. Using PB, when you mouse over the header links the pointer does not turn into the hand signifying a link nor does the Alt tag information show. The screen freezes and you have to close PB. The site works fine in IE5.5 or IE6.0
Any suggestions?
Java errors
Upgrade to PWB v2 or have the webmaster fix the java errors. This site has java script errors that are being ignored by IE. This can be demonstrated by checking the display a notification about every script error in the Internet Settings on the Advanced tab.
PWB v1 is not able to ignore java script error on web sites.
PWB v2.03 is able to ignore 90% of java script errors, and the soon to be released PWB v2.04 is able to ignore 100% java script errors.
