Kiosk mode/start button

Hi:
We are using PWB in kiosk mode (w/Fortres), we just noticed that when attempting to save documents to A: or E: (which we are controlling through the use of GP) the Start button reappears while in the File Download Box, just after hitting the Save button. After making your selection, the Start button disappears once again. The only options at that point are Shutdown, Restart, and Standby, but still since we are in kisosk mode, it should be appearing at all, no? If possible, please post your reply to kpowers@minlib.net since I am 2 inches away from vacation and my boss will be working on this whilst I am away. thanks! Sandy

You should use HideGUI to hide portions of the Windows GUI. Hide GUI is a free utility available on our download page.

Here is a good thread on using HideGUI when you only want PWB available on the computer.
