Are you using an alternate INI file through the command line switch "/INI="?
If you are using an alternate INI file change the following to the ManageIE registry settings.
"OpenPWBToURL"=dword:00000000
"URLApplication"="E:\\PWB\\PWBNav.exe /INI=E:\\PWB\\ALT.INI"
"OpenApplicationToURL"=dword:00000001
Substitute your PWB.EXE and alternate INI paths.
This will tell ManageIE to open PWB with a command line to the URL.

To use the IMG tag you need to park the image on a web server and then surround the URL to the image in the IMG tags.
Or you can email it to support@teamsoftwaresolutions.com

Lets start from the beginning.
Remove all the keys in the following registry location.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TeamSoftware Solutions\ManageIE]
This will be the basic install of ManageIE and should just close IE if you try to start it.
If you try to start Internet Explorer does it close without giving you are message boxes?
