A hitch in my PWBv3

Post by dflinton »

I am trying to create a smooth toolbar as we have with PWB 2.x; with only the back, forward, refresh, and home for patrons to use. I have all but one gripper disabled or removed. I am stuck on the right most gripper, its still there even though i have False'd out every thing relating to gripper. With that still active the user can grab it and slide it left or right or drop to another row. I'm tested on a 2008 server and on my own XP machine. Any ideas about what more I may try?

Don,

Judging by you INI snip you are using the version 2 INI file.

Here is the version 2 INI ToolBars section.

[ToolBars]
AddressBarWidth=
ShowButtontext=False
NavigationBarBreak=False
NavigationBarGripper=True
NavigationBarWidth=
ToolBarBreak=True
ToolBarGripper=True
ToolbarWidth=
AddressBarBreak=True
AddressBarGripper=True

The [ToolBars]NavigationBarGripper=False setting should remove the gripper from the location indicated in the picture, but there seems to be a bug. We are looking into it.

That is true Scott I did import some of the v2 ini to the v3 in a attempt to get rid of the grippers, I believe that I had the v3 ini all false'd out prior to trying the v2 ini entries. I'm going to go back and reset the v3 to default and try again to be sure. Thanks for looking into it.

The toolbar grippers have been fixed in PWB version 3.03.5.
