Log File Dates

Post by GregP »

Does PWB write to its history file using mm/dd/yy format or does it check the computer's regional settings?

PWB uses the MM/DD/YY format, it does not check the region settings. If this is a feature that would be useful I can certainly add it to PWB.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the reply. It certainly would be helpful. At the moment our security software dumps data into the log file using our (Australian) format DD/MM/YYand PWB is logging American formats MM/DD/YY.

They still work, but some of our staff who only access the logs once in a blue moon are getting confused.

Ta,
GregP

I will add support for the date formatting to the next version of PWB.

PWB v2.07 now uses local date and time settings.

Here is the beta copy.
