I have PWB V2.06 (registered) run on Windowx XP Service Pack 2. PWB.EXE is set as the shell. It runs on our kiosk OK for one day then the application seems to freeze. The Menu bar becomes distorted, buttons such as [Forward] and [Stop] disappear, the number 6 appears after both the [Back] and [Text Size] buttons. There is nothing in the Event Logs. A re-boot sorts the problem out temporarily, but it re-appears the following day. ClearCacheOnHome is set to True.
Any ideas?

Are you using PWB v2.06 revision 2? There was a problem with PWB v2.06 that causes the Clear Cache on Home to cause this type of problem. Upgrading to PWB v2.06 revision 2, or setting Clear Cache on Home to false should fix the problem.
To upgrade, simply copy the new EXE over the old EXE.
You may want to use Restart on Close, Clear Cache on Close, and encourage your patrons to exit the browser when finished. This will give the next patron a "fresh" browser to work with.
