Trouble browsing sierratradingpost.com?

Post by TCLibrary »

I first noticed this issue running Public Web Browser versions 2.06 on our Windows XP Service Pack 2 computers with Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 2 installed. Public Web Browser crashes in one of three different ways when browsing sierratradingpost.com. It will most commonly just lock up the browser while opening a page requiring us to exit via Task Manager. It will also occasionally just close the browser with no errors when browsing the site and we sometime get an illegal operation from pwb.exe.

I have been able to reproduce this on multiple computers. I have not been able to reproduce this issue in Internet Explorer or K-Meleon 0.9 running on the same computers. I upgraded one of the computers in question to Public Web Browser 2.08 and that did not correct the issue.

Also installed on these computers is Java Virtual Machine version 1.5.0_02, Shockwave version 10.0.1r24 and Flash Player version 7.0.19.0.

Has anybody been able to reproduce this error with their configuration?

I can not seem to reproduce the error on any of my test systems. Please send a copy of your INI file to Support@TeamSoftwareSolutions.com in order for me to test the page with your configuration.
