TIF Viewer

Post by george.yobst »

Hi all,
Is there a viewer snap-in people are using for TIF graphic files?
The uspto.gov isn't showing their images to us.
W2K & PWB 2.08.3 TIA! -George

OK, I loaded Quicktime and rebooted.
Now I get the Q logo briefly on the page, but no image.
I can see the page numbers tick by when I go forward or back
and briefly see the logo, but no images. Both in IE and PWB.
Any more ideas?

Is it the site or Internet Explorer, does this TIF open?

http://www.teamsoftwaresolutions.com/picts/logo.tif

Do you have a URL to a TIF on the site that is not working?

According to the help page on the site it recommends the AlternaTIFF or interneTIFF viewers.

Yes, your TIF opens, but USPTO doesn't:

I'll try AlternaTIFF, as I used it a LONG time ago and it worked.
Yep, it works! I had forgotten about it.
Thanks again Scott!

It seems those may be the only viewers that work with the site. I get the same results as you did with Quicktime installed.
