Since Scott fixed up the ResizeTo problems with PWB (5 months ago mind you, I'm just really slow ) I've gone back to look at some of the little pop-up windows we use to notify customers.
I ran into an interesting problem, which I thought was my fault, when I just couldn't get the windows as small as I wanted. But in fact I was butting my head against the wall of a security feature.
IE, like most major browsers, does not allow scripts to reduce the size of a window to less than 100x100 pixels unless the script has been digitally signed (which is an expensive process I gather).
In IE one would be hard pressed to find a situation where a 100x100 pixel window is still usuable, but PWB can have titlebar, menubar etc turned off so this is still a usuable size.
On the (slim) chance that anyone else is trying to do this, I hope this information saves you a sore head.
