PWB and Hotmail

Greetings,
We have installed PWB 2.0 and CybraryN on workstations in a library within our system. After the install, users are unable to access hotmail.com unless they type in the address www.@hotmail.com

Has anyone run into this and know the reason/a solution?

Are you using the PWB URL filter?

Do you get any dialogs, or error messages when you type in www.hotmail.com?

Hi Scott,
No, we are not using the URL filter. I am not onsite so I don't have the exact error we are seeing. I will get someone to test it and get back to you.

If you are not using the PWB filters, check Internet Explroer by logging on as the same user to see if it has the same problem. It may be "malware" or a virus that is causing the problem.
