A menu path to an http:// will not open PWB

I am using ManageIE to keep IE6 from opening instead of PWB 2.104. Our reservation software has a menuing system and I would like to have one item in the menu be http://picnik.com but when I choose that from the menu nothing happens because I have disabled IE and PWB doesn't open.

Is there a way to make PWB open in this case?
