Desktop Mode HELP!

Hi,

Im trying to put PWB into desktop mode, but everytime I do and open PWB up it comes up saying "this program cannot display the webpage" "most likely causes: your not connected to the internet, you mistyped the wedpage address"

the usual messages you get when you mistype the webpage or are not conencted to the internet... but when I take it out of desktopmode the webpage opens up perfectly

am I missing something like a separate address for desktop mode?? does anyone else have this problem?? any ideas or help would be much appreciated

I just found out what i was looking for..but now i get the right wedpage to display, but it also opens a window that the address is about:blank and it opens up over top of the desktop page

Desktop mode opens full screen and every link or navigation on the page opens in a new window. There is probably an ad on the page that is causing navigation and opening a new window.

For Desktop mode you need to start with a pretty plain web page.

You may want to try [Browser]KioskMode or [Browser]SecureMode.
