Cannot type '@' when using PWB

Post by TheGreek »

I'm using PWB 2.x on a 2003 Terminal Server. Using other Software is fine (also PWB :D ).
But when I use PWB and want to type for example an email-adress, there's no way to put the '@' in any field. Using the combination of altgr+64 also has no effect.
Testing the same website in IE shows no problem :(

I read the PWB ini-file often, but without any ideas of solving my problem.

Could anyone please give me a nudge?

Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

There is nothing in PWB that would block typing any character. We tested PWB on a Windows 2003 Terminal Server and it works without trouble.

Try logging on as the same user that runs PWB and test it in IE?

Scott, thanks for your advice.
I've done like you suggested once more (and after restart), but there is no difference.

Using IE or Notepad or other software (in the same session), there is no blocking.

Only inside the PWB I cannot type the '@' and so I cannot use any email-address.

Mhmm ... :?

Thanks for any, really any, ideas for a workaround.

Here are a few things you can try.

Make sure you are using the current version of PWB, which is version 2.11.1.

Try using PWB with an unedited INI file.

Run PWB from the Desktop of an Administrator on the terminal server.

Thanks for your advice.

Unedited INI file leads me to my error.

I used wrong configuration in Addon 'PWBDisableWindowsGUI'.
