DownClock for WinNT

Post by GregP »

Can anyone suggest an application or combination of little apps which function like DownClock for WinNT?

DownClock seems perfect for what we are looking for, but alas... wrong OS.

I probably should mention, its the user friendly messages I'm looking for. Regulating their access is the easy part.

DownClock, available from the TSS download page should work with NT. It has not been fully tested with NT, but I do not think it should cause a problem.

I have tried it, I know the readme file says only 2000/XP but I thought it couldn't hurt.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. But nothing happens.

I've tried executing remotely (psexec), scheduling it (at) and even running it from the shellbar to debug, but all I get is a small flicker from the screen, then nothing.

Does it matter that PWB is the shell, I've found one other app we use that stopped working when I changed the shell.
