PWB on IE8 is claiming to be IE7 according to the user agent string.
On Windows XP SP3 running PWB 2.11 we have just upgraded from IE7 to IE8. When we run IE8 natively the HTTP User Agent headers say "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)", but when we run PWB the HTTP User Agent headers say "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)".
Has some remnant of the IE7 installation been left behind by the update and PWB is using that or is PWB somehow forcing IE compatibility mode to claim that IE8 is 7. Has anyone else come across this or know how to fix it?
Thanks,
Tim
PWB on IE8 User Agent headers still say IE7

The IE control PWB hosts to render the HTML defaults to compatibility mode.
Use a newer version of PWB which automatically sets the IE compatibility mode to the current version of IE.
- or -
Depending on the version of PWB you are using, you can add/set the IEBrowserEmulation in the INI file to set the compatibility mode.
