Troubleshooting PWB?

PWB has started randomly crashing on our public computers.

"Public Web Browser (October 11, 2011) has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.”

Is there a list of common troubleshooting steps for PWB?

The first step is to upgrade to the current version of PWB.
