Hello,
I'm just getting started with learning PWB. I see you can allow or disallow the user to open new tabs. Is it possible to have the initial launch of PWB open mulitiple tabs?
I'm planning to use PWB inkiosk mode but have the the new tabs disabled, but have multiple tabs opened on start when the user is logged on.

Re: Initially open with mulitple Tabs
Have there been other requests for multiple tabs on open? I certainly appreciate it being put on the list. What sort of time frame are we talking here, assuming it made onto the implementation list?
I should have added this in the initial post.
I'm not a web page designer, so my knowledge in this area is limited. I believe it's possible to design a web page to open tabs or new windows. Assuming that's true, will PWB understand that and be able to open tabs that way?
Let me know if I'm off in the weeds here.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Re: Initially open with mulitple Tabs
You are the first with the request. We should have the functionality added into the next beta release sometime in the next few weeks.
Since PWB uses Internet Explorer for all it's HTML rendering, PWB understands new tabs as much as the version of Internet Explorer installed on the computer understands them.

Thanks for the info. I'll pass all this along to our web designer and see what they come up with.

The following has been added to PWB version 3.03.3.
[MultipleHomeTabs]
OtherHome1=http://www.teamsoftwaresolutions.com
OtherHome2=http://www.teamsoftwaresolutions.com/forum
You can add keys [MultiHomeTabs] section to have PWB open multiple tabs when it starts.

Re: Initially open with mulitple Tabs
Hi
this is exactly what I was looking for. I have tested your beta and you may notice that when launched it is the otherhome1 that is displayed but the homepage address is shown in the addressbar (bug). However the displayed page will be the last one to load like ie therefore you would need to put your preferred page as the last "otherhome" entry. Clear as mud.
thanks
Chris
