Hello -
I'm setting up several Windows 7 computers. I've set PWB (version 2.11) to launch automatically at log-on. One one computer, however, there is a short delay while PWB opens which says "Verifying application requirements. This may take a few minutes." It appears while the window is opening - sometimes before the homepage loads, sometimes when it's partially loaded and sometimes after the full homepage is displayed. It goes away after 15-20 seconds, but since this is a public computer, I'd prefer to fix it so the message doesn't continue to appear every time someone logs on. The computers reboot between patrons, so that message will cause endless questions from patrons. All three computers have been set up identically, or so I thought, but this message only appears on one. Do you have any suggestions on what could be causing this and how I can fix it?
Thanks,
Ginny Hewitt

Re: "Verifying application requirements" message on launch
Try creating a new Shortcut to PWB instead of using the "special" one installed in the Start Menu.
