We use PWB for our library catalog only computers and use a configuration script to keep people to the library catalog and databases only. One of our databases, Chilton's Online Auto Repair, doesn't display the pictures. When first reported, there were only the little X boxes of a broken link. We added the site Gale uses for their pictures to the configuration file and now some of the pictures come through. The landing page at Chilton's has a picture that comes through. But once you select a year, make and model, and then browse to your desired section, there should be accompanying pictures. Pretty normal for an auto repair manual.
On a Windows 7 computer I could see the status at the bottom was downloading from the site, but after a couple of minutes, it still said downloading and no picture ever appeared.
We are using PWB 2.11 on Win 7 and Win XP. This is the link: http://www.chiltonlibrary.com/Index.aspx
Any suggestions are welcomed. Thank you

Re: Some pictures not showing up
What is the minor revision number you are using of PWB v2.11, for example 2.11.9?
If you use an unedited INI file does the site work?

Re: Some pictures not showing up
I believe we are using 2.11.7.
An unedited ini file as user made no difference. But, while logged in as admin with the ini file normally used, (no configuration file blocking access) all the pictures popped right up.
So this is not a PWB thing, but something else entirely.
Thanks for your help Scott. As always, you're there like a soft blankie

Re: Some pictures not showing up
If it works as the administrator but not as the user, it is either a Windows permissions issue on the computer, or a Windows profile issue on the computer, not a PWB issue.
You can try removing the profile on the computer and let Windows rebuild it.

...or something in the group policy. Or some setting in IE. It probably not the profile, as they are local profiles and it's happening on XP and Win 7. I'm leaning toward IE. When we create the profiles, we don't touch IE so all the defaults are in place. And with Microsoft's newfound lean towards security, there's probably something we need to turn off or turn on.
