OLEACC.DLL

Post by Scott »

If you are using Windows 95 for PWB v2, it is not supported by Microsoft anymore and is missing this DLL. We have created a DLL that will allow PWB v2 to run on Windows 95 computers.

Download this file and unzip it into the PWB folder where the PWB.EXE resides.

If you are upgrading from Window 95 and have the OLEACC.dll file in the PWB folder, you should delete it because this file is only needed for Windows 95 and may cause problems with newer versions of Windows.

Deleting the OLEACC.dll file will not effect PWB. The OLEACC.dll that is available on our download page is a dummy file to allow PWB to run on Windows 95. The file is needed for applications compiled using Visual Studio .NET in 2003, which introduced an unexpected dependency on the Active Accessibility dynamic-link library, which was not available for Windows 95. By deleting the file PWB will use the OLEACC.dll file provided by Microsoft that is located in the System32 folder.

This means that if you were loaded the new files and you have already loaded the OLEACC.DLL files all will loaded easily but if that the OLEACC.DLL files is missing or corrupted other file won't be worked finely even not loaded .
