I use PWb extensively and it works great, but there is an issue with a new image collection website my Library has acces to (beta). To view images, the site uses a plugin called "Nexaweb amorphous client".

It works fine on IE but when you try to access it from PWb, the program closes.

I don't know if anybody can access the site to test test.artstor.org.

I think you need IP authentication to get access. I couldn't get in to try either.

We had the same problem, and got it figured out (sort of). They use JavaScript to open "showCollections()", link is named "Search and Browse for Images". When the testing started, we discovered that there was another link, from http://test.artstor.org/artstor/info/co ... /brief.jsp page, where JavaScript was opening "showCollections(")" link. And that one would work just fine. Our librarian send them a message about it, and they fixed it, but the wrong way - now both links open to "showCollections()". We just sent another message, suggesting for them to test it with PWB and fix the problem.

Our libraries purchased the latest and greatest ver. of PWB, but it still won't work with the images at Artstor.org.

If anyone has figured out how to make it work, please pass the solution along.

Set the following configuration in the java section of the configuration file (PWB.INI):

I've just received notification that the problem for the Public Web Browser has now been fixed. It was something on our end, not on theirs.
