Hotmail page slow to load

Hi,

We have pwb loaded on our public library computers, used in combination with microsoft steady state. We had the problem of hotmail crashing pwb which was fixed when we updated pwb. After that hotmail was very slow. I upgraded again today to v2.10 but hotmail still seems problematic. Other webpages load fine.

Is there anything else I can attempt to remedy the problem.

If you log onto to the same computer using the same account and run Internet Explorer instead of PWB does Hotmail load slow?

Are you using the PWB URL or IP filters?

After looking at my ini file, Scott discovered the problem.

"In your INI file you have the IP filter enabled.

[Security]
CheckIPAccess=True

But no IP filter file specified.

[Files]
CheckIPFile=

If you enable the filters, you need to have a corresponding filter file for PWB to parse.

A quick fix and hotmail is loading fine again.
