Mail.com Issue
Moderators: Tyler, Scott, PWB v2 Moderator
We have tested several Trident (IE) based web browsers and all of them exhibit the same issue on Mail.com.
Short List:
Public Web Browser
Avant Browser
Enigma, a web browser
GreenBrowser, which is also presented at the BrowserChoice.eu page
IE Tab, a Firefox and Google Chrome add-on used to render pages with Trident within the Firefox or Chrome user interface.
iRider, a web browser
Lunascape, developed by Lunascape Corporation
Maxthon, which uses the Trident engine while adding features not built into IE7
MediaBrowser, customized browsers, especially for Nintendo
MenuBox, a web browser
NeoPlanet, a web browser
NetCaptor, a web browser
Sleipnir, a web browser
SlimBrowser, a web browser
TheWorld Browser, a web browser
Tencent Traveler, a web browser
ThreeTeeth Browser, a lightweight web browser.
UltraBrowser, a web browser
WebbIE, a web browser

This is looking like an issue with the IE Web Browser control and the web site.
We have emailed Mail.com support to see if they have any insight.

With the new update to Mail.com it looks like the issue has been resolved on their end.
This was tested with PWB version 2.11.5 on Windows 7 with IE 9.

Mail.com Issue
After reading through the posts on here, I'm noticing I'm still having an issue when composing new mail on mail.com. I am using PWB 2.1.1.4, Internet Explorer 8 and Vista Business 32 bit. I don't see the issue happening when using Internet Explorer
Re: Mail.com Issue
Try using PWB version 2.11.5 with Internet Explorer 9. This has been tested on Windows 7 and found to work with Mail.com.Puterwiz82 wrote:After reading through the posts on here, I'm noticing I'm still having an issue when composing new mail on mail.com. Since this is a Trident HTML rendering engine issue that affects all web browsers hosting the Trident ActiveX control and not just a PWB issue it is out of our control. There are a few other paths that can be pursued.
1. Upgrade to Windows 7 with at least IE 9.
2. Use the Chrome Moly PWB alternative.
3. Contact Mail.com and have them fix the issue on their web site since this affects all Trident host based we browsers not just PWB.
We have contacted Mail.com a few times and are yet to get a response.
