PWBv2 with MS Deployment Workbench
Has anyone installed PWB using the MS Deployment Workbench?
Since PWB does not actually need to be installed because it does not rely on any DLL files that need to be registered, it is probably easier just to copy the PWB folder from computer to computer, and create the needed Shortcuts.
You can even run PWB directly from a network share. In this type of "install", all you need to do is create a shortcut that points to the network share. We do this using the UNC path so a drive does not even need to be mapped.

Thanks for the reply!! I have a quick follow up question..
Thanks!
If we choose this option, can PBW still use a custom INI file? Would one be needed local at each PC?Scott wrote:..You can even run PWB directly from a network share. In this type of "install", all you need to do is create a shortcut that points to the network share...
