Simple and Secure TV

Post by Scott »

We are currently developing a simple and secure TV application for Windows computers that can be used in public areas. Any input is greatly appreciated and should be posted here.

We will be posting links to the test copies in the near future.

SecurePlayer beta (base application)

http://www.teamsoftwaresolutions.com/be ... Player.zip

Secure Player is a simple Media Player that hosts the Microsoft Windows Media Player (WMP) without allowing access to other resources, including the local drives, or the Internet. Developed for use in public areas, Secure Player allows 100% compatibility with WMP without the access allowed by WMP.

Secure Player does not open files directly, you will need to associate Secure Player with the Windows Media file Open and Play Actions to allow Secure Player to open the Media file.

This is the base player and is not intended for production use.

Installation:

Unzip to desire location.
Use Folder Options File Types to set Open and Play actions.

Please email Support@TeamSoftwareSolutions for questions, comments, or suggestions.
