I can't get the Calc icon to appear in the Shellbar. Others (Word, Excel, Adobe Reader, etc) appear fine. The 'Calculator' title shows up fine underneath where it's supposed to, just no icon. I even tried to copy the old calc.ico file to the folder, still nothing. The shortcut goes to "%
SystemRoot%\System32\calc.exe" Any ideas? Ver 2.08.1

Re: Calculator Icon doesn't display in Shellbar
Hi,
Same problem here except the fix didn't work. Our Shellbar folder is located on the server, and when local the icon does display.
I've also tried changing the icon with no success. Also tried changing other Shellbar properties such as height, width, etc.
It would be helpful to not have to store the Shellbar folder locally to get the icons to appear.
thanks,
Hank

What are you using for the target path for the shortcut?
What are you using for the [Files]ShellbarFolder= path?

Hmmm...now you've got me thinking that maybe the .exe has to be on the server?
The target path for the shortcut points to local .exe and server housed .INI
The shellbar folder is pointing to the server and it is calling up the names of the shellbar icons so it is reading the folder ok it seems, just displaying a blank icon.

But what are the paths? Sometimes a syntax error in the path can cause the icon not to be found.
Are you using a terminal server, or simply running PWB from a server share?

Re: Calculator Icon doesn't display in Shellbar
Ok, so no ts, just a server share
shellbar path is:
ShellBarFolder=\\Public\dfs\apps$\Jones\PWB\shellbar
If I copy that path into the Run box it resolves ok
Not sure which target path for the shortcut you mean - if the url for the shortcuts in the shellbar folder then they seem ok cause when clicked on they resolve ok

The Shortcuts in the Shellbar folder point to something in the Target line. What is in the Target line of the Shortcut that is inside the Sherllbar folder.
