I am running the following:
XP SP2, IE 6, PWB 2.09, the free Real Player, all updates, etc. I can not get Real player to work. After I allow pop-ups, when I click on a link to listen to the 'radio' on BBC 4, I get the following message in a dialog box
: an unnamed file contains an invalid path
Any ideas?

I believe Real Player needs to download files, do you have file downloads disabled?
You should enable file downloads as follows. If this was previously set you will also need to go into the Internet Options and enable it in the Security Internet Zone. The easiest way to do this is to click the Default Level button on the Security tab.

DisableFileDownload=False

Scott, I have have enabled file download as described. I have also set the security level in Internet Options to Low. I also enabled second windows and now when I try to losten to the NPR program streem, I am given the option of choosing either Real or Windows Media but I still get the dialog box with the invalid path message. I now get a Report to Microsoft option box with an error reading PWB MFC Application error. If I send or don't send the error report to MS, PWB closes down. A couple of other settings I recall now as having done are that I made PWB the default browser and the WIndows Firewall is turned off.
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks

Well, Real Player Works with IE and now with PWB. However, when I am trying to listen to BBC Radio with their Radio Player(which is based on/built from Real Player), I need to unblock pop ups and that strange error message dialog box appears. There is an 'OK' button which I click on. The Dialog box reappears. I click on 'OK' again and it disappears. and the player works fine. Any ideas on the orgin/cause of this error box. If I listen to NPR, their link to listen to their 24 Hour Program stream opens Real Player directly and it plays without difficulty or unblocking pop ups.
