Saving to a floppy or flash

Post by sraymond »

It appears that the file download box appears _behind_ the dialog box that asks if you want to save. Not unmanagable if one keeps an eye on the taskbar, but possibly irritating to patrons who might not know what a taskbar is. Can this be remedied somehow?

If you click save, it should take you to the file download box, isn't that normal?

and indeed it does open a file download box, but that box is hidden behind the Gale Download dialog box which asks you to select the download format (html or plain text). The only way you can tell it's there is by looking at the task bar, or minimizing the Gale box.

Do you have the "AlwaysOnTop" option set in the main, or secondary, window?

This could cause this type of behavior.

There are 2 always on top settings.

[Borwser]
...
AlwaysOnTop=False
...

[SecondWindow]
...
AlwaysOnTop=False
...

For what you are describing they should both be set to false. This may clear up the trouble.
