Quicktime and PWB 2.06

Are there any known issues with PWB v2.06 and the Quicktime 7.1 player/plugin?

Whenever I load up a page with a QT embedded movie, it appears to load and then just plops a question mark in the middle embedded window. Plugin works fine in other browsers.

Thanks in advance for any info.

It sould work without problems. It is working on the same computer logged on as the same user in Internet Explorer?

PWB is totally relient on IE for all its web functionality including any IE plugins that may be installed such as QuickTime.

Yeah Scott,

I tried it on the same PC. I also tried an upgrade to 2.09 with know luck. Works fine on IE and Firefox on the same machine.

I'm looking at Apple's support database as well.

I'm not sure if the problem is with the QT 7.1 or what. I've not had this problem with previous versions of QT or PWB.

If you think of anything, let me know and I'll do the same if I come up with anything here.

Are you using any other security software like Fortres? If so, you need to edit the Save in Folders properties to include
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Apple Computer.

I'm currently running PWB 2.09 and the latest version of Quicktime without any problems.
