Perform action on visiting specific URL

Post by shutest »

Hello there,

we're needing to perform an action when a user visits a particular URL.

I was wondering if there was a simple way of doing this that I am overlooking?

A very simple example would be: When a user visits "www.mydomain.com/LOGOUT" the PWB window closes.

A Shellbar shortcut is not suitible for what we need to do and neither do we have control over the behaviour of the web page in question.

I'm hoping someone might have a cunning plan.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

There is nothing currently unless you enable the HTML dialogs, and use a script in the filter access dialog to perform an action on a denied URL.

We could add in a script file for the PWB filters though if you need it.

Thanks a lot Scott. I'm not in a position to try this at the moment but I will investigate the dialog/scripts option.

Thanks again,
Michael
