Has anyone managed to do this?
I can't find any obvious URL link, have added chat, talk, message etc to the URL.TXT file to no avail.
Is it possible to block ports via PWB?
I am led to believe Google Chat uses Ports 5222 or 443.
Regards,
Jay
Blocking Google Chat (but NOT gmail)

If you can not block the ports at the hardware level, and you are using Windows XP SP 2 you can use the Windows Firewall to block the offending ports.
It looks like Google Chat is a web based applet, so if blocking the ports does not stop it you will need to block the page that contains the chat.
