Help with auto-restart, please

Hi,

I experimenting with the unregistered version, and apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

I want the browser to restart 10 minutes after the first mouse movement or key press. So far, nothing seems to make a difference; the timer just restarts. (my other config settings work, so I am modding the right ini.)

You are using the demo version which has a 10 minute activity timer. You should request a 30 day temporary license to take this limitation away.

To get PWB to restart after 10 minutes of inactivity use the following settings.

Thanks, Scott, but maybe I'm having a stupid: Are you saying with the 10 minute limitation, none of the other activity arguments will work? Because even setting it to 600 seconds (the other three were already set as suggested), made no difference at all. The timer resets, but the browser session continues uninterrupted.

Yes, the demo limitation sets up a 10 minute timer that exits without restarting.

Could you tell whoever's in charge of marketing to spell out what the "10 minute limit" really means? I'm sure I'm not the first person to waste hours trying to get this undocumented restriction to work.

The limitations are listed on the top of Licensing page.

The unlicensed version of PWB has two limitations. A hard coded 10 minute activity timer, and "<unregistered>" appears in the title bar. Please refer to the licensing page for license information. The registration license number will only be good for the length of time you have purchased, once this time expires PWB will revert back to unregistered and a new license number will need to be obtained.

ActivityAction= does NOT work with any of the arguments, like EXIT. In other words it is DISABLED. On what planet would that not be a limitation?!?

Did you register PWB?

OK sorry, the unregistered version of PWB sets a hard coded ten minute Activity timer with Exit as the action. This overrides the activity time, and action, in the unregistered version of PWB.

The following causes PWB to exit after 10 seconds of activity in the registered version of PWB.
